Event Rules:
- Round 1 - Teams take an quiz based on mergers & acquisitions, business strategies, and core financial concepts. Each Selected teams are assigned a company with profiles and strategic goals.
- Round 2 - Unmoderated Negotiation Phase: Teams negotiate M&A deals, focusing on valuation, synergies, market position, and strategic fit, making offers and counteroffers. Negotiations end when all teams have merged or been acquired.
- Round 3 - Crisis Management: Teams respond to a business crisis by developing and presenting short-term and long-term crisis strategies to judges, explaining decisions, crisis impact, and recovery plans.
